Steps to Enable Ads in Visual Stories
- Navigate to Page Builder → General Settings → AMP Configuration.

- Under Select Provider, choose your desired ad provider (MGID, Ad Manager, or AdSense).
Note: Once enabled, ads in Visual Stories will be targeted based on the selected provider.
Best Practices for Better Monetization & Discoverability
To make the most of Visual Stories and improve their visibility, follow these Google-recommended guidelines:
- Use at least 10 images — this ensures ads are properly displayed and improves the storytelling experience.
- Keep story titles short and image-focused. Google recommends a 70-character title, with 90 characters as the upper limit.
- Add alt text for every image to improve discoverability through search.
- Enable auto-scrolling when using multiple video pages. This can be done in Page Builder, allowing the story to progress automatically without viewer input, giving a hands-free experience.
- Don’t forget to add SEO meta title and description for each story to improve visibility and ranking.
