Stripe Payment Links allow you to create a hosted payment URL for a subscription plan directly from Accesstype. Users can use this link to purchase a subscription without requiring a custom checkout integration.

Create a Stripe Payment Link

To create a Stripe Payment Link for a subscription plan:

1. Log in to Accesstype.
2. Go to Plans.
3. Open the subscription plan for which you want to create a payment link.
4. Scroll down to the Pricing section.
5. Under the Stripe section, click Connect.
6. Connect your Stripe account if it is not already connected.
   
7. Once Stripe is connected, click Create Payment Link under the Stripe section.

Accesstype will generate a payment link for the selected subscription plan. The payment link allows users to purchase the subscription directly through Stripe without going through a custom checkout flow.

Important Notes:

• Stripe Payment Links currently support a single currency. If the plan has multi-currency pricing, alternate currencies will not be reflected in the payment link.
• Changes made to a plan after the payment link has been created, such as changes to the price or duration, are not automatically reflected in the existing link. A new payment link must be created after updating the plan.
• After a user completes a payment, Stripe processes the payment and sends a webhook notification to Accesstype. Accesstype then creates the corresponding subscription.
• For the first payment, the subscription is created in Accesstype after the payment confirmation is received from Stripe.
• If the same user uses the same payment link to make another payment for the same subscription, Stripe will process the payment successfully. However, Accesstype will not create a duplicate subscription or extend the existing subscription.
• In such cases, the duplicate payment should be cancelled or refunded through the Stripe Dashboard.
