While editing a story, every save automatically creates a new version. This allows you to track changes and revert to an earlier version if needed. The Timeline feature helps you view and restore these previous versions easily.

Steps to Restore a Previous Version

  1. Open the story in the Story Editor
  2. Click on the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner
  3. Select Timeline
  4. Browse through the list of saved versions:
  5. Each version shows the date and time it was saved
  6. Click View to open a version in read-only mode (opens in a new tab)
  7. Identify the version you want to restore
  8. Click Restore next to that version
  9. Confirm the action when prompted

Result
The editor will reload with the selected version restored, allowing you to continue editing or publish it.

Helpful Tip:

If you're unsure which version to restore:

  • Use the View option to preview it first
  • You can also copy specific content from a previous version without restoring the entire story
