The Enable Login option in Bold CMS allows administrators to control whether a user can log in to the CMS using form login credentials.
When a user is created manually or attempts to log in using a supported login method, a user entry is created in User Central. To access and work in Bold CMS, the user must have an appropriate role assigned to them.
Assign a Role to a User
A user must have a role assigned to access Bold CMS.
To assign a role:
- Log in to Bold CMS.
- Go to Settings → Users and Roles → Users.
- Search for and open the required user's profile.
- Under Roles, assign the required role to the user.
- Save the changes.
Once a role is assigned, the user can access Bold CMS based on the permissions associated with that role.

Note: The Enable Login toggle is on by default.
Enable Login
The Enable Login option can be used when a user needs to log in to Bold CMS using form login credentials.
For example, if a user is unable to log in through form login and requires administrator assistance, you can use the Enable Login option to enable login access and set the required username and password.
To enable login:
- Go to Settings → Users and Roles → Users.
- Search for and open the required user's profile.
- Go to the Roles section and ensure that the required role is assigned.
- Locate the Enable Login toggle.
- Turn Enable Login Off and then on.
- Set the username and password, if required.
- Save the changes.
The user can then use the configured username and password to log in to Bold CMS.

Disable Login
You can disable login access when a user should no longer be able to log in to Bold CMS. This can be used either temporarily or permanently, depending on the requirement.
To disable login:
- Go to Settings → Users and Roles → Users.
- Search for and open the required user's profile.
- Locate the Enable Login toggle.
- Turn Enable Login Off.
- Save the changes.
The user will no longer be able to log in to Bold CMS.

Remove a User's CMS Access
A user's CMS access is also controlled by their assigned role. If a user leaves the organization or should no longer have access to Bold CMS, you can remove their assigned role.
To remove a role:
Go to Settings → Users and Roles → Users.
Search for and open the required user's profile.
Go to the Roles section.
Remove the assigned role.
Save the changes.
Without an assigned role, the user cannot access or work in Bold CMS.
