As an end user yes, you can clear cache from your browser or device to resolve common problems like:

Outdated content
Missing updates
Display glitches

Note: This clears only your local cache. If the problem is due to server or CDN caching, it will need to be handled by the website provider.

Methods to Clear Cache
1. Hard Refresh (Quickest Method)
A hard refresh reloads the page with the latest content.

  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
  • Windows: Ctrl + F5

2. Clear Browser Cache
On Google Chrome
Press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Delete
Select:

  1. Cached images and files (Optional) Cookies
  2. Choose Time range → All time
  3. Click Clear data

On Safari

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  2. Click Remove All

3. Clear Cache for a Specific Website (Recommended)
Instead of clearing everything, you can clear cache for just one website.

In Chrome:

  • Click the icon next to the website URL
  • Open Site settings
  • Click Clear data

4. Use Incognito / Private Mode
Open the website in an incognito/private window.

  • Chrome shortcut: Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + N

If the issue is resolved in this mode, it is likely cache-related.

Important Notes:

  • Clearing cache only affects your own browser/device
  • If the problem persists, it may be due to:
  • CDN cache
  • Server-side caching
  • CMS-related delays

In such cases, the website owner or support team will need to clear the cache from their end.
