A Promotional message is a boilerplate note that is typically published as part of all stories on your site, like a signature or legal disclaimer as a footnote after each story. You can also use these as ‘Call to Action’ links to direct readers to specific pages.

Using the Setting > configure> Promotions, your Administrator can set up to three distinct boilerplates to be used for distinct types of stories:

A Default Promotional Message that can be applied to all stories

A Promotional Message to be used only for Syndicated Stories.

A Promotional Message to be used for User Generated Content.
