The Mobile Styling Toolbar is a feature which enables editors to access text-formatting options while creating or editing stories on a mobile device.

By default, selecting text on a mobile device may display only standard options such as Select All, Copy, and Paste. When the Mobile Styling Toolbar is enabled, Bold CMS displays additional formatting options similar to those available on the desktop editor.

Editors can select text within a story and use formatting options such as:

  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Hyperlink
  • Strikethrough
  • Other supported text-formatting options

Use Cases:

The Mobile Styling Toolbar is useful when editors create or edit stories on mobile devices.

Common use cases include:

  • Editing stories on mobile: Format content without switching to a desktop device.
  • Applying text styles: Apply styles such as Bold, Italic, and Strikethrough.
  • Adding hyperlinks: Add or edit hyperlinks while working on mobile.
  • On-the-go publishing: Make formatting changes before publishing a story from a mobile device.
  • Consistent editing experience: Access formatting options similar to those available on the desktop editor.
